LK 2 months

Doll baby is 2 months, today. I know everyone says it, and I probably said it every month of Brody's life, but goodness time flies.  

At her two month checkup:

Weight: 11.3 (60%)

Height: 23" (78%)

Head circumference: 30%

She is a bit smaller than her big brother at this age.

She is becoming more social. She is really starting to make noises and smile when we play with her. 

Sis continues to love baths and her bouncer. She's still not a huge fan of the swing. 

Brody and I introduced her to Praise Baby this week. We sang along and she enjoyed it.

She is now wearing size 1 diapers and size 0-3 month clothes. 

She eats 4-5 oz. every 3.5-4 hours. At night she has a 7 hour stretch from feeding to feeding.

Jilly's Shower

A couple weeks ago, we went to a wedding shower for one of my longest, dearest friends, Jill. It was so much fun getting to visit with friends and meet sweet baby Brooks.

This is a picture of Jill and Brody taken when she came to visit the kiddos after LK was born. We all love Jilly! I cannot wait to be apart of their special day.

Family Love

Around the time of Mother's Day, my extended family, on my dads side of the family, got together at my aunts house. 

It was the same day I started to have regular contractions so u decided to stay home while the boys went. Unbeknownst  to me, our sweet family threw us a surprise little shower for LK. Justin and Brody opened all the gifts and my mom texted me pictures as they opened. It was a wonderful and thoughtful surprise! Little miss got some of the cutest outfits! My aunt had this adorable cake and cupcakes made. How cute is that?! 

Once again we were overwhelmed by the love shown to us. We are blessed by their kindness.
