*3 months*
This has been such a fun month – Bub’s little personality is really starting to shine. He is content, observant and independent (most of the time). He doesn’t mind putting himself to sleep or playing by himself. He is a little charmer. The child knows how to flirt with momma and the other ladies in his life. Like I’ve said from the day he started moving in my tummy…this little boy is AND will be ACTIVE. He loves to be in motion, and now that he is figuring out body parts he is filled with excitement as he moves around. He is going to keep me on my toes; that’s for sure.
His hands find his mouth often and he blows raspberries all the time.
He is really starting to explore. There is nothing better than watching him discover new things. I love watching him figure out what his hands can do, and soon his feet. Currently his hands are more relaxed (instead of having closed fists) and he’s been hitting the objects. Just recently he actually grabbed and pulled on an object he had been staring at – made momma so proud of him.
We have conversations that last longer, now. Of course he “oohs and aahs.” I enjoy every second of it. The giggling is the BEST.
We start our night-night routine at 6:30; bath, feeding, bed. B is usually asleep by 7:30p.m. and wakes up at 6:00 – 7:00 a.m.
Bubs naps are inconsistent. One day he’ll take a 2 hour morning nap and 1 hour afternoon nap. The next day he may only take a few 30 min. naps. And the next he’ll take one morning nap for an hour and one afternoon nap for an hour.
He holds his head steady and upright for a short time. We’re working on mastering this skill.
As I was typing this post I couldn't believe it....how in the world is my little love bug already 3 months. It sounds so cliche, but goodness where does the time go?!
Happy 3 months, bub!
